Karp KRP-150-FR Insulated Fire Rated Access Door 18" x 18", Paddle Latch The Karp KRP-150-FR Insulated Fire Rated Access Door is flush mounted, with anchor straps and mounting holes to facilitate installation. Frame is 16 gauge steel and 1 inch wide. Door is 20 gauge steel, welded pan type filled with 2" thick fire-rated insulation and opens to 175°. The door is self-latching with automatic closer and interior latch release. Hinge has a continuous piano hinge. Finish is prime coat of rust inhibitive electrostatic powder, baked grey enamel. The KRP-150-FR is insulated and rated by Underwriters Laboratories for 1.5 hour "B" label in walls, and may be used in a 2 hour fire rated wall assembly.
