The DC984 Hammer drill has a powerful, 14.4V motor which provides 450 in-lbs of maximum torque for tackling the heaviest applications. It has exclusive 3-speed transmission features a maximum 3rd speed at 1800 RPM for faster drilling, driving and fastening. A 1/2 inch all metal, ratcheting chuck with carbide jaws prevents bit slippage. The DW054 impact driver has 1150 in-lbs of maximum torque for tightening and loosening large nuts and bolts and driving fasteners. The impact driver features variable speed ranges from 0 - 2400 RPM and 0 - 3000 BPM for optimal power and versatility. It is equipped with an all-metal 1/4inch hex quick release chuck.
